Quincy Davis grew up surrounded by surf. Born and raised in Montauk, New York, Quincy comes from a family of surfers. It was in Montauk where Quincy rode her first wave, fell in love with surfing and by the age of 12, secured a sponsorship with surf wear manufacturer Volcom. Known for her fast and agile yet graceful style, it didn’t take Quincy long to become a standout on the junior tour by winning contests around the globe and claiming 1 st place at the Corona Pro from 2012 -2015.
Yet growing up only a few hours from New York City, fashion, art, and design inspiration has been at Quincy’s fingertips. In 2010, Quincy co-designed a capsule collection with Volcom and realized her serious passion for fashion and design.
An avid follower of street-style blogs and fashion websites Quincy is often in front of the camera—representing the much sought-after lifestyle of todays’ globetrotting surfer girl. A media darling, Quincy has been the focal point of various media ranging from Matt Lauer of the Today Show to being photographed by the prestigious Annie Leibowitz for the Corcoran Group real estate campaign Love Where You Live.
As a lover of movement and fitness, whenever Quincy is not in the water, she can often be found running the roads of Montauk or taking Pilates regularly to keep in superior shape.
Summer often finds Quincy at home in Montauk, enjoying her hometown’s natural beauty and endless activities while also finding time to support several ocean and environmental charities and mentor young girls Montauk Boardrider Co. summer surf clinics.
While Quincy divides her time between traveling for sponsors, media shoots, and a select array of surf contests—she continues to compete in key Women’s Qualifying Series events—her sights are set on creative pursuits in the worlds of fashion and beauty but Quincy will always find time for the waves.
